How might we unlock additional value to the existing personas in Zentra to produce recurring revenue above and beyond Zentra's current hardware and paid subscription Model ?

A subscription plan that makes it easier for people living in buildings to use the amenities, like gyms or pools. At the same time, it helps the building managers understand how these amenities are being used. It's all about making things smoother for everyone: residents get hassle-free access, and managers get helpful data to make decisions.

Residents can conveniently monitor the current status of amenities in real-time, ensuring timely access and convenience. This feature fosters transparency between residents and property managers, promoting trust and satisfaction by providing immediate visibility into the availability of amenities.

Alert System: Stay Informed, Secure Amenities Hassle-Free

Residents have the option to create alerts when amenity slots are full, keeping them informed. Furthermore, they receive notifications when slots become available again, facilitating timely bookings.

Research

Started with User Interviews

Interview 7 people all stakeholders involved in multifamily residential community which includes residents, Property manager, Insurgence agent, Integrator, Maintenance personal.
Analyzed all the data collected , picked 2 personas residents and property manager.
Business Canvas Analysis

This method enabled us to systematically evaluate market dynamics, identify key user pain points, and craft a tailored business proposition. By meticulously mapping out Zentra's value proposition and revenue streams within the canvas framework, we ensured a strategic fit that resonated with both user demands and financial sustainability. This approach facilitated a holistic understanding of the venture's viability and paved the way for informed decision-making in pursuit of sustainable growth.

Users found the booking process cumbersome or confusing, which was indicating a need for simplification or clearer instructions.

In our laundry usage screen while doing the usability testing; user were more interested in the current active cycles and when certain machines would be free. So that they could plan their laundry accordingly

Reflection

Incorporating Business Perspectives in DesignReflecting on our integrated design approach, combining user and business perspectives was pivotal. TAM analysis and subscription model exploration broadened our understanding beyond user needs to encompass market demand and revenue potential. This approach ensured alignment between user-centric design and overarching business goals, leading to informed decisions with tangible impacts.

This integrated approach allowed us to not only create user-friendly solutions but also evaluate their potential impact on the organization's bottom line. Through TAM analysis, we gained a nuanced understanding of market demand, identifying key segments and opportunities for growth. Simultaneously, exploring subscription models enabled us to assess the long-term sustainability and revenue potential of our product.
